The Laurels of Hudsonville is very pleased that many surgeons and attending physicians follow their patients at our facility.
If your physician does not have admitting privileges, our Medical Director or other attending physician will be happy to oversee your care while you are staying with us. Karl Breitweiser, DO, Medical Director
Dr. Breitweiser graduated from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is board certified in Family Practice. Dr. Breitweiser is the Medical Director of Metro Health Physician Offices in Jenison, Michigan. He received the Governor's Award of Excellence in 2004 for Family Practice. Dr. Breitweiser is affiliated with the American Osteopathic Association, Michigan Association of Osteopathic Family Physicians, American College of Osteopathic Family Practitioners, and Kent Healthcare Physician Organization.
Shanaz Ali, MD
Dr. Ali is board-certified in Internal Medicine. She practices with her husband Piyush Bhatnagar who also attends at The Laurels of Hudsonville. Dr. Ali and Dr. Bhatnagar have privileges with the Spectrum System.
Michael Byars, MD
Dr. Byars is part of Georgetown Family Physicians. He has been an attending physician at The Laurels of Hudsonville for over 6 years. He is also on the board of Zeeland Hospital.
